Insomnia

I can't sleep!!!

Ahhhhh!

I am going crazy!

Ladies and Gentleman! I am averaging 4 hours a sleep a day! And I am going crazy! Not only am I cranky and unproductive, but how is my little baby g supposed to be able to grow nice and big and chubby for me, if mama is a walking zombie?!

I went and bought a body pillow, helped a tad but I was still up at 4:30 am wide awake listening to Mr. G snore and talk in his sleep!!!!

I tried to take a nap yesterday but laid in bed for a full hour!

As concerned I am for myself I worry more about the affects of lack of sleep has on baby g ( the new name till we find a name for him/her) I read in all these pregnancy book how important sleep is so now. So, now am stressed out and tired from not sleeping I am stressed out about baby g not sleeping! Ahhhh

I read somewhere warm milk helps, but the thought of warming up a cup of milk makes me want to barf so there goes that! My next step is a good cup of sleepy time tea with honey and lemon!

I need to sleep! NEED IT! Do you feel/hear my desperation?! I need all the sleep I can get!

Ok, I am done venting!

I hope everyone has a fanastical weekend with lots of sleep and rest while I figure out how I will get mine!

Sorry for all the typos I haven't slept in 2 weeks!

Weekly Update: 8 Weeks

WEEK: 8

MONTH: 2!! Woot woot! 4 more weeks till the end of the first Trimester!

TRIMESTER: 1

GENDER: Still unknown!!

THIS WEEK THE BABY IS: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.

THE BABY SIZE: The lil baby is now the size of a Kidney bean! Woot Woot!

WEIGHT GAIN: Steady 2lbs so far whew!

SYMPTOMS: Same as week 7! So far I feel great! Other than random bough's of extreme exhaustion and annoyed by perfumey smells. Some smells smell super duper over the top strong to me. I have switched my lotion, body wash, face moisturizer and roll the window down in the car with people who smell good because it no longer smells good to me!

CURRENT MOOD: Happy! I have been less tired the last couple of days and that makes me happy!

CURRENT CRAVING: I have been only wanting to eat light food and mainly Top Roman. Yum. Anything heavy and that makes me full makes me feel very sick and nauseous. So I am trying to eat small meals through out the day!

CURRENT WORRY:
Finding a girl name that I love!

Fun filled weekend!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MR. G-eeeeee HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Last Thursday was Mr. G's birthday ( woot woot!) so we have had one busy week/end filled with celebrations!

First, we started off the day with a good breakfast and coffee (gag) made by lil ole me! Then we headed to dinner at the Boiling Crab! Have you ever been there? If not I highly recommend you get your booty over there asap and give it a try! Granted if you like sea food and don't mind a little elbow grease to get to your food!

Secondly, we went to my mother in laws house who hosted a very lovely BBQ with lots of food and cake. Yum and being preggers there is nothing that sounds sweeter to my ears than an all you can eat dinner! Anyways, she had invited a lot of family and family friends who we haven't seen since the wedding. It was really great to see them again! After that we went and did Cosmic bowling, but I was beyond exhausted after the second game. Again I blame it on the little jelly bean. Sad. I know. It was definitely out of character for me so that was a bummer!

Thirdly and lastly, we went to lunch with my parents at the Macaroni Grill to celebrate the last and final day of Mr. G's birthday celebration. What a spoiled brat he is!

Okie dokie, well that was my weekend in a snapshot! I was terrible and did not take a single photo! I will chalk it up to pregnancy brain! (probably the excuse you will be hearing often!)

So, I will leave you with a cute photo of ME and Mr. G! It looks like we are about the same age here but its not a 100%. Right now I am obsessed with our baby photos trying to imagine what your lil one will look like in 7 months!

He is so cute. He makes my heart melt. Barf.

The End.

OMG...I am going to be a MOM!

OMG!

OMG!

OMG!
I can't freaking believe it! I am going to be a mom!!!

People its true! I am knocked up, preggers, with child, I've got a bun in the oven!!!!

So as of today I am 7 weeks 1 day! Only 5 more weeks until I am in the clear and out of the first trimester and I already feel like I have been pregnant for a long time!
Mr. G and I are so over the moon and excited for this new adventure!!

So each week I will do an update on how I am doing along with regular posts that I promise to keep up with!

So here we go!
WEEK: 7

MONTH: 1 3/4

TRIMESTER: 1

GENDER: Still unknown!!

THIS WEEK THE BABY IS: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long. (Babycenter.com)

THE BABY SIZE: The lil baby is now the size of a blueberry!

WEIGHT GAIN: 2lbs ... oops!

SYMPTOMS: So far I feel great! Other than random boughs of extreme exhaustion and annoyed by perfumey smells. Some smells smell super duper over the top strong to me. I have switched my lotion, body wash, face moisturizer and roll the window down in the car with people who smell good because it no longer smells good to me!

CURRENT MOOD: Happy! I have learned that in moments of frustration I cry now. But I have yet to cry over a TV show, movie, commercial. As for trying to wrap my head around the concept that I am going to be a mother, in charge of another life and being responsible for the type of adult this baby will be come is a very overwhelming thought. I look forward to the challenge but I still feel like kid myself still! Its a good thing I LOVE babies and want to expand my family!

CURRENT CRAVING: Any food that I don't usually think of when I am hungry (i.e. Top Roman, oranges, grapes, fruit juice, waffles just to name a few but these are all one time eats) I have become extremely creative when it comes to eating food! Go figure! I also had one craving for a chocolate shake, but then the next day I tried it again and it did not taste as good. Bummer.

CURRENT WORRY:
Becoming as big as a house, I am only 5'3 and every pound I gain is very noticeable! Plus my mom's lecture about how she didn't even show till she was 6 months and gained 20lbs with me at the age of 19 only adds to my worry that I will looking 6 months at 3 months! Therefore I vow to eat healthy and workout even when I don't want to because in the long run it will be worth it for me and the baby!
